Booking and travel
How do I make a booking?
Use the online booking form to choose your service and preferred date, and Jess will confirm availability with you within one business day.
Do you travel to all areas?
Glams on the Move covers Windsor, Richmond, the Hawkesbury, the Hills District, Penrith and the Blue Mountains. Travel further into Sydney is possible on request, with a small travel fee.
How can I pay?
Cash, bank transfer, and PayID are all accepted. A deposit is required for larger bookings such as weddings.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment may incur a fee. Bookings can be rescheduled subject to availability.
Is there a travel fee?
Travel within the Hawkesbury and Hills areas is included. A small fee may apply for further-out Sydney locations such as the Blue Mountains or eastern suburbs.
Do you do last-minute bookings?
Yes, if there is availability. Contact Jess directly to check for last-minute openings.
Bridal and weddings
How far in advance should I book?
Book at least 2 to 3 weeks ahead to secure your preferred date, especially during busy wedding and event seasons. Bridal bookings are best secured 6 to 12 months in advance.
Do you require a deposit?
A small deposit is required for weddings and larger events to secure your date. The deposit comes off the final balance.
Do you offer group bookings?
Yes, Jess can glam multiple people for weddings, formals, or special events. Group discounts may be available, just ask when booking.
Do you offer trials for bridal makeup?
Yes, bridal trials are a great way to perfect your look before the big day. Trials are usually booked 4 to 8 weeks before the wedding.
Can you stay for touch-ups during my event?
Yes. Touch-up service is available for an additional fee to keep you looking flawless throughout your event.
Can you come to my hotel or venue?
Yes. Travel to hotels, venues or event locations anywhere across the Hawkesbury, Hills District, Penrith and Blue Mountains is standard.
Can you do my whole bridal party?
Yes. Bridal party packages cover the bride plus bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and others getting ready with you. Allow approximately 45 minutes per face.
Makeup
Can you use my own makeup products?
Yes. If you prefer specific products, Jess is happy to incorporate them into your look.
Can you work with mature skin?
Absolutely. Techniques and products are tailored to suit every skin type and age, with special attention to texture, hydration and finish.
Can you create a specific look from a photo?
Yes, bring photos or inspiration and Jess can tailor the look to suit your features and colouring.
How long will my makeup last?
With the right prep and products, makeup will last all day and night. Touch-up powder and lipstick are provided for longer events.
Do you do natural / no-makeup looks?
Yes, soft natural looks and full glam are both standard. Discuss your preference at booking or your trial.
Are the products you use pregnancy-safe?
Yes. For maternity bookings, Jess uses pregnancy-safe foundation, contour and lip products, and skips ingredients to avoid in pregnancy. Mention any specific concerns at booking.
Lash services
How do I care for a lash lift or tint?
Avoid water, steam and oil-based products for 24 hours after your appointment. After that, cleanse gently and skip oil-based eye-makeup removers to keep the lift and tint at their best for the full 6 to 8 weeks.
Brow services
How should I care for my brows after a lamination or tint?
Full aftercare instructions are provided at your appointment. Generally, avoid getting brows wet for 24 hours and skip oil-based products in the first day.
General
How long does an appointment take?
Makeup sessions usually take 40 to 60 minutes. Brow or lash treatments are typically 30 to 45 minutes. Bridal sessions allow 90 minutes per face.
Do you bring all the products and tools?
Yes. Jess brings everything needed for your service: high-quality products, brushes, and tools, all sanitised before every client.
Can I combine makeup with lash or brow services in one appointment?
Yes, services can be combined in the same session. Mention it when booking so Jess can allow enough time.
Do you provide hair styling too?
Yes, but only simple event-ready styling: soft waves, blowouts, half-ups and easy low chignons, applied at home alongside your makeup. For elaborate bridal updos or specialist hair design, Jess can recommend a trusted hair stylist to attend with her.
Can you work with sensitive skin or allergies?
Absolutely. Let Jess know your concerns when booking so suitable products can be selected.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. For lash or brow services, avoid oils or waterproof products beforehand.
Do I need to wash my hair before my appointment?
If hair styling is included, please have it clean and completely dry before the appointment.
How do you keep your tools clean?
All brushes and tools are sanitised before every client. Hygiene is the top priority for every appointment.
